An enclosed kitchen garden

This design repurposes an old machinery shed and milking bay. The machinery shed was converted into a potting shed and a wire enclosure was added to create a kitchen garden. The kitchen garden incorporates seven large raised beds in a space protected from birds, possums and rabbits. The path around the edge and solid fence to the ground limits snake access. Shadecloth can be rolled out for hot dry summers and rolled away for winter.

The milking bay has been converted into a “morning tea spot” which features stained glass windows.
